Floyd Hamilton
President

Mr. Hamilton has been a resident of Lake Havasu City since 1969 and has been actively involved in the community as a member of many organizations.

A graduate of Western Illinois University-Macomb, Mr. Hamilton served on the Mohave Community College board from 1974 to 1984. He has been a general contractor in Illinois and in Arizona, where he owned and operated Solar Dynamics of AZ, an R&D and manufacturing company, until his retirement in 1996.

Tom Watterson
Vice President

Mr. Watterson graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Engineering and Education and received an MS in Economics from Stevens Institute of Technology.

He has served in the USAF as a Navigator in Strategic Air Command and worked as an engineer and manager with ALCOA, Texas Instruments and McDonald's prior to operating three Round Table Pizza Restaurants in San Diego.

He is an AARP Tax Aid Volunteer, attended Town Hall in 2001,and co-chaired Citizens for Clean Water during the "sewer wars." A full time Havasu resident since 2000. Mr. Watterson currently serves on the Board of Lake Havasu Association of REALTORS.



Cinda J. Ross
Treasurer

Ms. Ross, a 30 year resident of Lake Havasu City, is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in special education.

She is a past president of the Lake Havasu School Board and currently serves on the K-12 Foundation board. Additionally, she is a member of the Lake Havasu Medical Center board and is president of the Employee Trust for the Lake Havasu School District.



Bill Ullery
Secretary

Dr. Bill Ullery earned his Ed. D from the University of Illinois. He also holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from Ball State University.

Dr. Ullery has more than 30 years experience in higher education and has held key administrative positions in Indiana, Wisconsin and Idaho. He has been Dean of Instruction for the 13 campus Indiana Vocational Technical College and State Director and CEO for Vocational Education in Idaho.

Dr. Ullery has been a Lake Havasu resident for more than a decade and is currently President and CEO of DBU Construction.



Dianne Tobin
Member-at-large

Dianne Tobin graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Program. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.

Healthcare has been her main focus for more than 40 years, and she is in private practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner.



Board Members


Conard O. Belvins

Conard Blevins, has been an active member of the Lake Havasu City community for nearly two decades.

A retired Lieutenant from the Oakland, CA Police Department, Mr. Blevins served six years in the US Marine Corps and earned an LLB degree from LaSalle Extension University.

He is a former Lake Havasu City councilman and one of the founders of the Havasu Silent Witness program. Mr. Blevins currently serves on the Mohave County General Plan Review Committee and is an active member of the Lake Havasu City Elks Lodge #2399.



Carolyn Bruce

Carolyn Bruce has been active in the Lake Havasu City community for over a decade.

She currently serves on the Lake Havasu City Council and is a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Development Advisory Board.

Ms. Bruce is chairman of the Lake Havasu City Tourism Bureau and is president of the London Bridge Civitan Club and the Women's Network Exchange of Arizona (WNEA).



Jerry France

Mr. France is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a degree in economics. He spent 18 years in banking, with the last 5 years as president of a suburban Kansas City bank.

Mr. France moved to Lake Havasu City in 1990 and is currently a principal of AJS Insurance and Senior Vice President of the firm's Financial Services Division. He is a member of the London Bridge Rotary.



Gail Malay

Ms. Malay is currently Superintendent of Lake Havasu Unified School District #1.

She graduated from State University of New York at Geneseo with a BA in Math and Elementary Education and earned a Masters degrees in both Elementary Education and Educational Administration from Northern Arizona University.

Ms. Malay has been a classroom teacher, school principal, director of personnel and community relations, director of special education, and assistant superintendent.

She has served on the board for the Lake Havasu United Way, Chamber of Commerce, and Interagency Council. She is an active Rotarian and member of the Lake Havasu K-12 Foundation.



Jo Navaretta

Ms. Navaretta has been a member of the Lake Havasu Unified School District Board of Governors for twelve years and currently serves as the board's president.

Ms Navaretta, a graduate of Katherine Gibbs Business School, is a Lake Havasu business owner and member of several community and business organizations including the Colorado River Building and Industry Association, the Lake Havasu Chamber of Commerce, and Mohave Community College Foundation.

She is a past president of Soroptimist International of Lake Havasu City and was twice awarded the Soroptimist of the Year honor in 1989-1990 and 1997-1998. Ms Navaretta received the Excellence in Education Award in 2000.



Mary Carol O'Malley

Ms. O'Malley graduated from Marygrove College in Detroit, MI with a degree in Business and Economics.

A 27 year resident of Lake Havasu City, she has been a board member for the Community Fund (now United Way), Western Arizona Humane Society and the Lake Havasu Community College Foundation (and later the MCC Foundation).

Ms. O'Malley has held both local and state offices in the American Association of University Women.



Charlotte Rodriguez

Charlotte Rodriguez earned her Master's degree from California State University and has over 15 years experience in post secondary education.

Ms. Rodriguez has served on the Arizona Articulation Committee for community colleges. As a Member of the Mohave Community College faculty she developed curricula for the City of Lake Havasu including the Lake Havasu Public Safety Department and Outreach programs.

Ms. Rodriguez is currently on the faculty at Telesis Preparatory Academy and is an officer and board member of the Lake Havasu branch of American Association of University Women.
