SITE VISITS
Descriptions and photos of the new uptown Arizona State University site are included in the Latest Foundation News section of this web page. This is the former Daytona school grounds on the corner of Acoma and Swanson.
You can visit this campus most days. Simply walk the area and enjoy the great lake views.
This site has all the characteristics of a California college campus with multiple buildings, beautiful grounds, ball fields, and park-like settings. And, it’s all within a block of Lake Havasu’s impressive upton shopping, entertainment, and restaurant district. There are also student support centers nearby, where you can turn to with a certain list of requests related to study and organizational issues, or get online exams help. Also, the center's employees can give you a mini-excursion only on the campus, tell you about the historical heritage of local buildings and sculptures.
If you would like a tour with Dr. Bill Ullery, HFHE Executive Director, simply click on Contact Us on the upper right of this page and email Dr. Bill. It is our hope that all donors, potential donors, and all community leaders, will take the tour.
May 18: ASU president Michael Crow visited Havasu. In this photo, Dr. Crow received a check for $100,000 from HFHE donor John C. Hughes.
